Communications Specialist & Project Coordinator
Position Summary:
Context Creative is a presentation-specific design agency that supports a variety of clients from seed stage startups through Fortune 10 enterprises. We have extensive presentation and storytelling experience, and are experts in presentation development and production.
Our company is currently seeking a part-time, contract Communications Specialist to support executive Keynote presentations, and serve as the primary on-site liaison between client leadership and our creative design team. A successful candidate will translate high-level strategic concepts into clear design direction, while also supporting project timelines. For the right candidate, this opportunity could transition into a full-time role.
Responsibilities:
Executive Consultation & Strategy
- Interface directly with corporate executives to capture presentation objectives and narrative flow.
- Analyze complex business concepts and ask clarifying questions to ensure strategic alignment.
- Distill executive input into actionable direction for design.
Project Management
- Coordinate the deliverables of multiple presentation projects simultaneously.
- Manage timelines, version control, and stakeholder feedback.
- Serve as the on-site point of contact for project status updates.
Keynote Experience (Bonus)
- Develop presentation decks that align with client branding and project objectives.
- Understand complex ideas and executive strategy. Provide clear direction for our design team to turn these into easily understandable visual formats, ensuring clarity and impact.
- Ensure all materials adhere to established brand guidelines and corporate standards.
- Assist with copywriting and proofreading all materials before delivering to client.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Must demonstrate the professional presence required to interact with C-suite leadership.
- Technical Proficiency: Working knowledge of Apple Keynote. Familiarity with standard project management software and macOS ecosystems.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to synthesize high-level corporate strategy into visual storytelling.
- Professionalism: Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and represent the organization effectively in a corporate office environment.
- Flexibility: Must be able to work on-site 2-3 days per week in Sunnyvale, CA, as required by the executive schedule. Work from home is available otherwise. Role will likely start part-time, and can transition to full-time for the right candidate.
- Growth mindset: Desire to continue building skill set through asking questions, working in new programs, and working across design styles.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience supporting executive communications or presentation design.
- Minimum 1 year of experiences designingly natively in Keynote is required. Knowledge of Keynote templating is a plus.
- Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, and the Adobe Suite are a plus.
- Professional experience and/or higher education in communications, arts, design, and/or business.
